The student, 17, received the least votes from the public in tonight's result show.
The decision went to deadlock when the judges failed to reach a unanimous verdict following the earlier sing-off between Rachel and Lloyd Daniels, 16.
She had previously been in the bottom two twice before.
Despite her competitor Lloyd hitting a bad note on his final song, Rachel's moving rendition of the Oasis song Stop Crying Your Heart Out, wasn't enough to keep her in the competition.
Mentor Dannii Minogue, 37, now has 2 acts remaining.
