The seven-year-old is reported to be 'very poorly' and there are fears he could develop complications from the illness.
'She is very frantic,' Jordan's spokesman tells The Sun.
'You would assess a normal child at home, but in Harvey's case as soon as he gets ill he has to go to hospital.
'Katie is preparing to take time off work until he is well.'
Ex-husband Peter Andre, 36, last night joined Jordan at Harvey's bedside.
'He drove straight to the hospital as soon as he found out,' his rep tells the Daily Star.
Harvey - Jordan's son with Dwight Yorke - is expected to be monitored for at least 48 hours at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.
