Weekend getaway

Hi all,

Thinking of taking the kids and hubby out for a christmassy weekend - anywhere that'll get us in the spirit.

Any idea's? UK or abroad, gotta be cheap!

Thanks

Mandy

Has anyone been to Disneyland Paris during Christmas?

We all went in August. Had a fab time and it was cheaper than I thought too. It's worth comparing internet prices with travel agents as both give really competitive deals.

Thanks Nina,

That's great I was a bit worried that it was going to be expensive but all the better. i think i'll def consider it, I've actually seen some cheap deals on the internet. Who did you book it through?

Co-op Travel :o) The 5 of us went (me, hubby and three girls aged 8, 5 and 3. Our package included:

- eurostar there and back (we drove)
- two nights and three days at a EuroDisney hotel (I think ours was the Davy Crockett hotel) - B&B, lovely little cabin
- Day passes for all of us for three days (because we stayed at a Disney hotel we could go in earlier and leave later than everyone else)
- Free car parking

Guess how much it was - go on, have a guess!

Haha!!

Sorry Nina, although that's really cheap for you all - my estimation was never going to be realistic!

I did checked it out and it's gonna set me back about the same as what you paid, so I'm gonna have to save that till next year me thinks!

Thanks anyhow

*lol* It's probably better to wait until next summer - you do spend a lot of the day outdoors and it will be freezing!

Yes that's a great excuse! Haha

Hmm reallly running low on the old funds, I just seem to be spending more and more on Christmas each year, so the kids'll have to make do. Luckily I'm not putting up Christmas dinner this year, we're off to friends thank God!
