Friday munchies

So far today I have had a toasted bagel, a banana muffin and three cups of coffee. Do you ever gets days like that, when you just can't stop eating? I'm putting it down to a busy week and feeling tired so I need all the sugar and caffeine I can get. On the other hand, maybe I'm just being a complete pig!

That's not so bad - I've had a glass of juice and a pint of water (breakfast - I never eat first thing), three satsumas, a pear, two cups of tea, another glass of water and some cereal.

That's quite a lot isn't it?! I thought I was doing SO well *lol* I think I would probably eat less if I had a proper breakfast before leaving the house, but I haven't eaten breakfast since I was very little. I'm just not hungry. I very rarely have a hot drink either as it always goes cold so I prefer to wait until I can sit down and drink it (usually at work!).

I get the munchies something terrible at my "time of the month". I eat and eat and eat (ALL rubbish) all day for about 3 days. Or I eat when I'm unhappy too. They're the usual causes.

I'm giving away my biscuit tin that I keep on my desk today. No more biscuits at work!

I've had to make it a rule never to eat between meals while I'm at work otherwise I'd never stop! Which is why the bagel, muffin and three coffees count as breakfast! Normally I'm quite good. We had a cake making competition on Pick Me Up where people made a cake to look like something in the magazine. The picture editor made a sponge of my head lol!
We've got a surprise celebrity to judge it - heaven knows what they'll think when they discover one of the cakes was a sponge txxd in a recycling bin!!

*lol* I'd like to see that - you'll have to post some pictures!

By the way, the website is a lot better :o) I don't like all my comments to be negative ones!

Success! I'm delighted things are getting better. There's a whole team of people who work behind the scenes on the site who will be very pleased to get some positive feedback. I'll pass it on! Did you have a good weekend? I did a bit of bargain hunting in the shops on Saturday and ended up buying something that wasn't in the sales. Why does that always happen? Everywhere I Iooked there were people with bulging Next bags but there was no way I was braving that scrum! I ended up buying my daughter a short pale pink hoodie and some matching jogging bottoms in Pineapple. She's nearly 12 and suddenly very into clothes! What do your girls like to wear?

Funny you should say that - my 4 year old has her nursery party this morning as she starts school in September :o( so I left it to the girls to decide what she should wear. I was expecting her to wear one of her party dresses or one of her Indian suits (she looks SO cute in those) but she came down wearing jeans and a sparkly t-shirt! That's what you get when you have trendy sisters!

Simie and Jassie aren't too bothered about clothes - Simie still loves anything pink and Jassie wears whatever I put her in, but Ellen (9) loves clothes already. I can't buy her clothes without her being there. She loves long tight t-shirts with slogans and jeans. Or she wears those long tops with leggings. She's very lucky that she's tall and slim and can wear anything she wants to. I wish I could!
