chicken pox jab

i was really pleased to hear about this new chicken pox jab for children. my children are teenagers now but my eldest had chickenpox so bad he was admitted to hospital. it was a terrible time for all of us and i could still cry when i remember how poorly he was. if i had young children now i would definitely give them that jab. it could save an awful lot of heartache - and i really know what i'm talking abut here. chickenpox can be a terrible, terrible illness.

Both of my kids had chickenpox when they were young. It was horrible - they were so ill but I'm still not sure about the jab. I knew that once my kids got over it - they'd never get it again and their immunity to it would be natural. I understand that chickenpox and shingles can be a killer espec if you're older. I'm still not sure I spose my kids were lucky enough to get through it when they were really young.
