Re: What's the best way to lose weight?about 1 year agoThe messages on this thread should help you. I try to eat healthily most of the time as I don't really believe in dieting - it's too hard for one thing! Secondly, a lot of people put the weight back on once they come off the diet. Think about long term goals that you can stick to and introduce them slowly. Like one month, drink more water and cut down on caffeine, then the next month eat more fruit etc etc. I've found some really good recipe ideas on this site too if you're stuck for what to cook. Try the Diet section or Nutrition under the Food section. Hope this helps, let us know how you get on X Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky. |

Yeah I agree alot about what Nina said. Defo look to drink loadsa water and eat loadsa fruit and veg - take it in to work with you or have it with your brekki. And yeah I think if you try to have more home cooked meals, even if it's something really quick and simple - that will really help as you'll be cuttin down on salt and fat that you get in packaged foods. Even like omletts, jacket potatoes, salads, curries are really easy actually - stuff like that! Even if you're having chips make them yourself. It's not all about starving yourself either - I think its important to have treats coz you've really gotta enjoy what you eat! I used to eat loadsa chocolate but its funny coz now I don't eat as much and I actually don't even feel like eating it that much ne more - I really enjoy eating fruit so I think you've just got to get in to your own routine.

Re: What's the best way to lose weight?about 1 year agoFollow a healthy longer term goal rather than crash dieting - that's the way to go! |

Re: What's the best way to lose weight?about 1 year agoHi there, I just wanted to share my weight loss jouney with you all that sooned turned into a success story... Two years ago I was 22 and 13 stone 10, far too big for my 5'6" frame and I suffered horrendous panic attacks and anxiety issues. Whilst waiting for a therapy appointment, I decided to tackle my biggest confidence knocker-losing weight. I stumbled accross Herbalife and met a wonderful lady who explained about the company and the products and I soon realised that a herbal, natural programme was right for me. I skipped breakfast so this was ideal, I had a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch, plus two snacks & a main meal of my choice in the evening. I lost 6lb in my first week and 6 months on, I hit my target of 10 stone 10 lbs. Having spoken to my "coach" every week, I already knew there was a maintenence programme to help me keep the weight off so I quickly adapted to one shake and two meals plus two snacks. I've been doing this ever since and I've actually managed to drop down to 10st 2lbs and have stabalised here for some time now and am much happier. So much so that I am now a herbalife distributor and I have many customers who have had their own success stories and I've been thrilled to be a part of their journey. Obviously this kind of programme suits some and not others and that's personal preference, completely normal. All I can say is, for me - thnk god for herbalife xx
