Male nannies

Male nannies

There’s been some stuff in t he news recently about men being nannies. I’m not sure how I would feel about letting a man look after my kids.

Would any of you let a bloke take care of your children?

I dont  know if i would want a male nanny or not really. I spose thats quite sexist of me though. I was a nanny for along time and i never met a male nanny. I know that there was a nanny in a daycare place near me and everyone thought he was fantastic!

Nannies are the most expensive form of childcare...they live in, expect use of amenities, I know of a rich working couple who got a foreign nannie and built her own extension on the house !....I wouldn't be discriminate of gender when it comes to it, lets face it, a male Nannie is going to be used to children, you would have to be cautious whoever looks after your children, gender is not the issue, its like saying "do you feel comfortable giving birth under the care of male midwives...yes, at the end of the day, as long as they know the job, then I wouldn't have cared if a trained chimp had delivered my children!...Just a quick point to Ribena, Is there any way you can work part time, to cut the cost of childcare down?....or maybe it's time to be telling your Mum about your growing bump?.....If it was my Daughter, I would want her to tell me, I would be shocked as she is not yet ten yrs old, but you know what I mean x
