I get birds eye steam fresh vegetables, they can be microwaved straight from the freezer and have a few different varieties, my lot love em.

Sweet potatos r a great way to get veg down them, just boil em like normal pots & mash with a bit of butter. My kids love em. You can cook em in the micro wth a bit of water if you want. Or mash them up with some tuna, grated cheese and tomatoes as a complete healthy meal.

You could try cooking from scratch in bulk and then freezing - I do this a lot as I work full time and have 3 young children with better social lives than me!

There's NOTHING wrong with potato waffles and beans now and again - baked beans count for a veggie portion! Grate a bit of cheese on top and it's a good meal! I'm a great believer in letting mine eat junk sometimes as long as they eat healthily most of the time. I've never deprived them of chocolate, sweets, cakes, crisps etc and as a result they have a little bit as a treat and then stop (the problem is that I can't stop at one cake or chocolate!). Maybe I just have strange kids. Mine actually prefer home cooking to a take away. Unless it's MacDonalds they can take it or leave it!

Keep Smiling and Eat Well :o)
