pregnancy in late 30's

Hi, my husband and I have been trying for a baby for the last two years and have not had any luck, I am 40 soon and would like to hear from anybody who has any tips or hints or who are in their forties and have had problems conceiving or anyone in that age group who have had a baby but had problems and had waited years to achieve getting pregnant.

Hi Sue - sorry to hear youve been having trouble. i think the general advice if yoou've been trying as long as you have is to go and talk to your doctor.

on top of that you should have a look at you and your husbands diet. make sure you dont smoke or drink too much as these both reduce your fertility. 

theres a woman called zita west whose book is brilliant for people wanting to have babies. i think you can find a link in the concetpion section of the family area.

Thanks for your advice, we have been to the doctors and had several tests but still no luck, I have ordered that book you suggested hopefully that may give me some ideas or hope.
