Re: Veggie help!over 2 years agoYou can still do a veggie version of a traditional Sunday roast. Buy a large ready-cooked Yorkshire pud ( check it's Ok for veggies) heat & fill with cooked sliced mushroms, courgettes, tomatoes and spinachin a little cream. Fry up some Quorn pieces and add these too if you like. Serve wiht your normal roast potatoes ( not cooked in animal fat!) & veg & some veggie gravy ( you can but Bisto veggie gravy granules). It's yummy! Believe me, I've been veggie for over 20 years and often serve this for Sunday lunch. My kids love it. |

Re: Veggie help!over 2 years agoSo how did the Sunday lunch go Chaz!? I'm eager to find out as my new girlfriend is also veggie and i have run out of ideas for dinner. Yesterday we had vegetarian mince pies that i had left over from christmas, and they were only in the cupboard from when my ex girlfriend came over to break up with me on christmas day (she was veggie too). Rebecca said she liked them, but she only ate one. |
