Do you have to admit if your depressed?

My friends going for a job and on the application form it actually asks if she is on anti depressents. she has been on them for a while since her marraige broke up but does she have to admit it? Is there any way theyll find out if she doesnt admit it? shes worried it will mean she wont get the job and she really needs it

Does anyone know?

Unfortnately I don't know either, if she doesn't tell them is there anyway they can find, out all medical reports are strictly confedential so she would have to sign for her prospective emloyer to get access to them and I don't think I would do that unless I was firmly offered the job. H ope all goes well for her anyway, let us know

it as nothing to do with them! she is ok what is wrong with people getting a little help when they need it....sick of these people telling us what we should and should not do....good luck to your friend.

 I should think it only applies if she is unable to work or concentrate to work. If she is depressed she might find it impossible to do a full days work. She might think she is well enough but after a full week collapse again. sorry if I am worrying you.
