Has anyone been on a diet which does not included veg?7 months agoPlease help - I don't eat cooked veg - although I do eat raw veg such as carrotts, onions, cabbage, lettuce etc and also eat fruit but want to lose a little weight before going on holiday in July and would love to find a diet that did not include cooking veg but have never found one. Hope someone out there may be able to help - am a full time mum so need to ensure that meals are planned and that its something everyone can eat (rest of family eat cooked veg). Can't wait to see if anyone can help |

Re: Has anyone been on a diet which does not included veg?7 months agoHi Nina, Thanks for your comments - were put off cooked veg at school - and have never eaten them since - can't stand the smell, look or taste of them cooked. I have also heard the same stuff about raw being better than cooked but don't know if this is correct. Its ok eating raw veg with salads etc but hard during the winter and can be quite limited especialy when eating out. Thanks for replying and for the help.

Re: Has anyone been on a diet which does not included veg?7 months agoHi Kelley, Thanks for your help - when you say that you eat 200g or less of carbs - did you still carry on eating normally apart from this - it sounds easy and I like the sound of that as have a family and sometimes can end up cooking 4 different meals at different times in the day so can sometimes just end up picking (which I know I shouldn't and have now stopped myself). Glad to hear the adios worked for your friend - I have been looking at that in the supermarkets but wasn't sure if they would help (you know what these things are like) might give them ago. Any more advise or help you can give would be great - you sound like someone who can relate to the problems of not eating veg - there are not many of us out there - not that I know of anyway - people always look at me as though I have two heads when I tell them that I dont eat veg.
