Of course I'm not going to hate you for not being able to put on weight - don't be silly! You have just as much of an issue as someone who has weight to lose as being underweight can harm your health too.

I wouldn't advise anyone in your situation (or anyone at all actually!) to eat junk food! You need to make sure you're eating all the right foods for your health - have a look at the nutrition section on this website under Food - it's really good and has given me lots of ideas. I've also heard that eating at regular intervals can help settle your metabolism - maybe you're eating at odd times?

Let me know what you think :o) I have a friend who is a natural size 6 and she has been stopped in the street before and told by a complete stranger that they thought she was "anorexic and disgusting". I can totoally sympathise with you.

Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky.

Hi, my sister is the same as you, she is naturally thin. Although it gets her down when people point out this, it annoys her why people think because she is thin they can comment on it but if she was bigger nto many people would come forward and point this matter out and it really gets her down when people tell her she should eat more and how LUCKY she is. She eats ALOT but never puts weight on, she too has no eating disorder and excersise just aint in her vocabulary lol. Are you changing because of what pther people think? Maybe have a word with your GP, I went with my sister and they explained to her to eat every few hours and too not to go with eating junk food. If you are really underweight then they might give you protien drinks. hope this helps xxx

My sister-in-law just cant put weight on! she is under 8 stone and is a size 8 and is also pregnant! The midwives have told her she must put on weight and eat! but Although she says she eats ALOT i dont think she eats as much as she says she does! It's right to say that not being able to put weight on is as much a problem as not being able to get the weight off! Your doctor would be able to advise you better than any of us hun but don't get too down about it! you are who you are and everyone loves you just the same as if you were a bit heavier!

Tell those closest to you that you love them as you never know when they might be gone!
