he works to hard

my partner star work at 6 am works till 4 30 then gets home at 5 and starts his other job at 6 till 12 every day i am so down about it that most days i cry if i pull him up he gets angry tells me he is doing it for me and the kids but i am starting to think i would be better off on my own he also hanout consiquences if i ask him to take a day off he says he will quit both his jobs and see how we manage then the hour he spendn the house he is that tired he falls asleep am i being selfish for needing som attention

your partner is just trying to provide for his family and make sure that your all alright. It sounds like he's struggling to find an even balance so is probally getting snappy when you mention it as he thinks your being ungrateful when he's working his feet to the ground. However its not selfish for you to want to spend time with him and as a family, try telling him that you understand he works all these hours for you but that you time together even if its only for a couple of hours a week. Maybe he doesnt realise how much it hurts to play second place to his job, even if in his head his doing it for the right reasons.

how old are your kids? do you have a job? if not and your kids are old enough why dont you get a job during the day while he is working then when you both get home you can relax together and neither of you will be so tired hun!?
