me and my partner have been together for a while and we have always been very sexual active and i have never expericenced anything like this. when we actually have intercourse lately it feels almost like he his hitting a wall inside me and i hurts alot. i dont understand it as alwys been enjoyable. my periods have been a bit irregularly and then heavy then light. i have done pregnancy tests and am 100% certain that im not. does anyone have any ideas what this could be as it is really starting to get to me and my partner

Are you both lubricated enough? It could be hurting because you are too dry. Other than that, I don't know what to suggest - maybe you should visit your doctor and see if there's anything s/he can do?

Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky.

when this happens do you feel very hot and dizzy afterwards?? if u do it sound like what happens to me now and again. 

 Like Nina said if it does carry on i would visit the doctor or the nurse if u are worried about it, when it happened to me before i had a bacterial infection.

I also had painful sex with my partner a few years ago. It was worse for him because when he penetrated me he said it was like something was sharp against his penis. We put this down to excessive sex and dryness as previously advised. He was sometime impatient for penetration and was too forceful but he suffered more than me.

As our techniques improved we overcame the problem of dryness and more patience worked and some lubrication certainly helped.

I think we were also quite guilty in case we were confronted. So sex was a little nervous and hurried at first. Hope this works for you too.
