why can't anyone seem to commit?3 months agoI see jennifer anniston and her latest man have split. He says its cos she wanted more commitment than him or something. Feel so sorry for her, she's stunning and seems kind and clever as well as a funny actress but she can't keep her men for love or money. Is it something she;s doing or a sign of the times. I see my nieces and their friends in their twenties going thru the same problem and I think it must be somerthing to do with society. Maybe everyone has too much freedom and should get back to basics again and just enjoy a nice life with their partner snd children. I mean what can be better? What does everyone think? I can't believe it can be all jennifer's fault she's too lovely. |

Re: why can't anyone seem to commit?3 months agothe grass isnt greener!!!! ive been with my partner for 6yrs we arent goin to get married but were both happy with that. i think we expect to much from our men women there isnt such a thing as happy ever after!!!!! prince charmin dosent exsist. i think you have to be happy with your own company and able to live without a man woman to thouroughly appreciate them and enjoy them for who and what they are when they do come along. i wasnt looking or interested in finding any1 when i met my partner and i certainly never expected it to last 6yrs and have 2 kids!!!!!! yes jen is lovely etc etc but we dont date her live with her etc so who really knows what shes like she could be jelous possesive untrusting etc etc, im not saying she is but no 1 really knows. xxx |

Re: why can't anyone seem to commit?3 months agoIt's hard to say whether it's society's or people's fault etc etc because every relationship is different and the people involved are subjected to different things. But one thing I do think (I agree with most of what's been said above too) is that a lot of people just don't seem to want to TRY to make relationships work anymore. I'm sure it's not true in every case but it does seem that people who have been married for years tend to stay married for years and most divorces happen during the early stages of marriage. My parents were brought up in India and never even met before they were married - they met on the wedding day! Now, 40-odd years later, they're still together. Obviously, some relationships do turn sour and I'm not saying people should stay together for the sake of it, but a lot could be learned from people celebrating golden wedding anniversaries and more :o) Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky. |
