We want to know what YOU think!

Hello everyone, nice weekend?

We're taking a little look at our message boards, doing some spring-cleaning (or maybe it's an autumn clearout?), a spot of housekeeping and generally trying to get them to where you want them to be.

So this is where you come in! We'd love to hear your feedback - the good, the bad and the ugly - so that we can see if there are things we can easily fix for you (or at least try to put in the pipeline). We want to know:

-    What topics you want to discuss - have we missed some?
-    How you find using our chat? What would you do better if you ran it?
-    What other message boards you use that you find really good?
-    Anything else you want to mention while you're about it?

We can then collate the feedback you give us and see what we can do with it. If you find you have problems logging on them use this email address - good-to-know@live.com - in the meantime to send us your ideas

Well done Goodtoknow, the website's been much better recently, I haven't had so many problems logging in then given up! :o) I still have a couple of problems though:

- If I haven't logged in and see a post I want to reply to, I press the reply button which, naturally, takes me to the log in page. After logging in, I get the message "You have successfully logged on" (is that really necessary? We didn't have it before) and then I have to click to continue. Sometimes when I do this, it doesn't take me back to the message I wanted to reply to but to the chat home page. And there have been instances where I've had to log in again!

- I'm still not sure about this big box for replying to messages. It is good to have a bigger box but sometimes I start off with the small box and then when I'm half way through typing my message it changes to the big box and clears my typing! Also, I don't know about anyone else but the buttons for changing font etc never appear for me?

But apart from that, as you know, I come on here regularly and love this website and the chat forum. Except it's not really chat is it? I would call it a message board. What I'd like to see is chat rooms where people can see who's online and chat realtime with them, kind of like MSN and those websites.

Also, it's quite hard to keep track of message threads that I'm interested in, I feel I have to go through too many screens. Rather than just having the top 5 threads in a corner box, I'd like to see a list in order of which have been replied to most recently, if that makes sense. Then you could have links to the different subjects.

Anyway, this is just my opinion. Like I said, I come on here a lot because I love this website but you did ask *lol*

Sorry,, just one more thing, I really like the blogs and find them really funny and interesting but I can never seem to reply to them? I get error messages or the links take me to different places? I don't know about everyone else, but I have a feeling that's why you don't have that many replies to the blogs?

I seem to have to go through too many screens for the blogs? But like I say, I like the subjects, they make me laugh!

Out of interest, how many hits on this website do you have on an average day? How many users have registered?
