constant ringing in my ears and no sleep

 hi everyone - i feel like im going mad because for the past two weeks ive had this constant ringing in my ears. it started when i stopped sleeping properly because my husbands snoring has suddenly got really bad. i lie awake for hours trying to get back to sleep but this is now starting to really affect me. i am getting dark circles under my eyes and i feel really emotional all the time. the ringing in my ears is bad too.

i got my husband some nose strips and they worked first of all but have now stopped. any ideas for stopping him snoring would also be great!!!

does anyone think i should go to the doctor? im getting really worried and a bit down xx

Sounds like tinnitus to me. Deffo go to your doctor and get it checked out

Tinnitus is so annoying and not widely recognised as a condition but it drives you insane! I have had it for a good few years now...think it was started by a course of antibiotics!

Unfortunately it never goes away but be reassured that they can do things to help you and also it doesnt afffect your hearing.

 i dont know but i dont think tinnitus would just suddenyl start in 2 weeks, i thought its gradual. but yeah see the doc! and make your husband sleep on the sofa
