Toilet Trainingabout 1 year agoHi All,
this is my first post, I am from australia & I suffer a little from anxiety and am currently toilet training my daughter, recently we went to a local park and she wet herself on the slide. I cleaned it all up with baby wet wipes but am stressed that i have left germs on the slides when other children will be using it. I just want some advice from other parents to c if i have done the right thing or not? Is that what you would have done? I understand to some this is a silly issue but with my anxiety i just like some reassurance that i have done what any other parent would have done. As i am the first in my family and my friends to have a child. Any feedback would be great Thanks
Thankyou

Re: Toilet Trainingabout 1 year agoLet's face it - a slide in the park is not going to be one of the most hygienic things in the world even before your daughter had her accident! I think most people assume that parks are not the cleanest places in the world. In fact, when I take my girls to the park, they wear their old clothes and those generally get put in the wash when we get home anyway. I think you were really organised to have the wipes to clean up the slide - that was a really thoughtful thing to do. As far as I'm concerned, you did the right thing and I can't think of anything else you "should" have done :o) I hope that's eased your mind a little. Kids do this kind of thing ALL the time. Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky. |
