Oh god, Ribena, you're really going through it aren't you? What you need is SUPPORT. You're very young and you've made mistakes but I don't think that gives your parents the right to disown you - I'm sorry, but that's how I feel. I don't think I'd ever turn my back on my daughters if they got into trouble.

And now you're pregnant again? Were either of your babies planned?

You need to start with your GP and get an appointment STRAIGHT AWAY. S/he can refer you to Social Services and any other agencies that might be able to help you. Listen to and read all the info you get and take all the help that's offered. It was hard enough for me to have children and bring them up and I was in my 20s with a husband and family around me!

Maybe someone will be able to mediate between you and your parents and get you talking again. And maybe they'll be able to sort your boyfriend out or you find you don't need him anymore - he sounds pretty much useless to me!

But GET HELP, Ribena, And let me know how you get on X

Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky.

thanks

no they wernt planned when i found out that i was pregnant with summer i wanted to get rid of her but my boyfriend said no lets keep it, so we did my parents had allready sort of given up on me because they dont like my boyfriend & i just cant belive how unsupportive he is being now he was fantastic with summer but now his not & i dont think he cares about the other baby, i have got people supporting me like my boyfriend's sister in law & his brother & his mom. i have gave up on my parents because they dont like my boyfriend & they didnt from the start, it's like i took summer round to there house the other day because my brother wanted to see the baby my mom just sat there didnt say a word didnt even want to look at her. im not going to social sevices yes im only 14 but i dont want my kids taken away, i just need something to help summer with her teething & something to help me sleep oh & something to give my boyfriend a kick up the ass

Wow, Ribena - sounds like you're having a tough time. totally understand why you don't want to go to social services, but I do agree with Nina - you really need to get some help at some point.

As for teething - you can get some stuff called bonjela that you rub onto summer's gums.

You can also try something called Ashton and Parson's teething powder - it's basically white powder that helps a lot of babies.

If she's keeping you up at night, you could try baby ibuprofen liquid. That can help with the pain and often helps your baby sleep.

Good luck

You had me at 'hello!'

My heart goes out to you pet but any bleeding during pregnancy has to be investigated.  I bled very early on in my pregnancy and my GP sent me to the hospital for scans immediately.  Thankfully it was not serious and my tot is now 4 months old.  Don't be scared, but do talk to your doctor, he's there to help you and your baby.

I have 2 girls and both of them respond very well to Teetha powder to ease their teething problems.  It's a hemeopatic remedy, you'll get it in chemists or healthfood stores and it really works for my kids.  It would be no harm for you to start taking supplements, build up your system now so that when your baby arrives, you'll have the energy to cope with 2 kids.  I was wrecked with our first baby, she never slept (ever!!) but I started a liquid multivitamin while pregnant this time and boy I can really see the benefits.  Just make sure you chat to your doctor before you start taking anything.

I hope things work out for you.  Best of luck

Lucy
