im sixteen years old and I have been in a relationship with a 30 year old man. I was fourteen when we met, we never got together because of the age difference, but we met up and had a laugh, when i was fifteen he got with a girl and she fell pregnant after 2 months and he was very upset, when there little biy was born he was very happy but didnt want to be with her anymore, we chatted all the time and when i was 16 we met up again and i confessed I had feelings for him, he told me he felt the same, we started a relationship behind his girlfriends back. I felt guilty but I was in love with him, he said he wanted to leave her but was scared to loose his baby boy, I feel deeply in love and i still am. I lost my virginity to him and I dont regret that one bit. we have been seeing each other for 9 months now.he broke up with her but because he missed his baby he got back with her. He also stopped it with me and I miss him so much, we went through alot together and I cant help but miss him, I still love him so much and he says he loves me but he wont talk to me anymore. the past two weeks have been hell for me. My parents dont know anything about my relationship as they would be so angry. I love this guy more than anything and I cant let him go. I need help. He is the one for m and I know that, he just cant get his head around the fact  I love him and miss him so much. I would do absolutley anything to be with him, if it wasnt for the age difference I know things would be different. I love him too much too let it go. Please help xx

Hello there,

I'm sorry you're going through this heartbreak but if you want my honest opinion, I do think you should let it go. This man sounds like he has a lot of issues in his life even without you in the mix and he's left his partner and then got back together with her... does he know what he wants? Also, he cheated on her with you and that's never a good sign - how do you know he won't cheat on you with someone else?

I wouldn't dream of patronising you by saying the age difference is too much because you sound like a mature, responsible girl, but you are still young and need to get out there more and have some fun of your own. Maybe even meet someone else?

Give this man one last chance - send him a text or a letter explaining how you feel and if he doesn't leave his partner for you for good, then you should let it go and move on with your life. He might even be doing you a favour.

I agree, I know you think you can't live without him but you've gota let him go. You're young, maybe in 5 years then you'll be ready for each other but you need to live before you commit to someone like that. He needs to sort himself out too

thanks for the replies, im still crazy though, does anyone know a quicker way to get over someone?? im at the end of my tether waiting for him to contact me!!

Get yourself out there, go see some friend and have some fun. You've got a mobile haven't you? You won't miss his call if he tries to contact you?
