Unwanted chins!

I recently lost some weight and while I seem to have managed to keep everything toned I can't seem to get rid of my extra chin. I've gone down almost two dress sizes which I'm really pleased with but I'm feeling let down by this additional chin! Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Congratulations on your weight loss! Wow, that's really impressive! Can I ask how you lost the weight?

As for the extra chin - dunno? Have you tried those facial exercises?

Don't sweat the small stuff. It will make you stinky.

That's awesome! I too have a bit of a waggly chin and I try to do what the models do - their trick is to curl their tongue up so the tip is pressing against the roof of their mouth, then press the tongue against the roof of the mouth for about 30 repetitions. You can feel it slightly working your chin muscles.

I've also got this FANTASTIC book called 'Facial exercises' and it has another trick for chins! Point your chin high in the air so your neck is stretched. Use a hand to press your skin down on the lowest part of your neck where it joins your collarbone. Then lift your chin higher about 20 times almost like you're doing chin push ups. You'll feel the neck and chin area getting taut when you stretch. Keep doing this whenever you remember to.

Okay, it hasn't worked brilliantly for me but I'm not the one who managed to lose 2 dress sizes. You've got staying power!!!

I'm liking the tongue against the roof of the mouth one! I had looked up some ideas on t'internet but all the ones they suggested resulted in me sat at my desk at work pulling funny faces! At least with this one I can do without looking like a prat!

Thanks

The weight loss wasn't too difficult really - it's the keeping it off that's tough! (She says tucking into macaroni cheese and a huge chunk of bread!) Two years ago I moved in with my partner, we generally eat quite healthily but he's that annoying type who can eat anything and doesn't seem to gain weight. I was matching his portion sizes and then snacking on top of that! At 5'3" I can only go outwards! Now, I've banned junk food from the house apart from once a week. I don't drink alcohol during the week, I've swapped junky snacks for fruit, cereal bars and yoghurt and literally just cut down the amount I eat - whatever my other half gets, I get two thirds of that. Green tea and LOADS of water are great too! I also go to they gym three/four times a week now and my partner and I have taken up ballroom dancing which is loads of fun and a great way to excercise.
