with my three they started off with a runny nose and just being extra clingy and not interested in playing and eating, and then the odd faint spot started to appear (I was convinced my eldest had meningitis) after a while they did start to look like proper chickenpox spots. I do hope you're lucky and don't catch it yourself, as it can be quite nasty in adults.
