 My uncle has been told he needs to reduce his cholesterol but its tough because he loves cheese and friend breakfasts. has anyone had to lower their lvel and what hve they done to do it?

As a diabetic with high cholesterol, I was prescribed by my doctor a group of tablets called Statins. I may be wrong but I think you can buy them over the counter too.

Also, there are plenty of foods containing plant steroids to lower your cholesterol - things like Flora, Benecol, soya milk.

Know what you mean about cheese - it's my weakness too but I think in moderation and along with making other small changes the cholesterol should come down.

 I'm sure there's lots of other tips but they are all I can think of for now!
