Enjoy classic Christmas fun with a family pantomine, join workshops, hear Christmas stories, sing songs and meet Father Christmas in his grotto at the top of the Grand Cascade. He'll even have a present waiting for you under the tree. And don't forget to whisper your Christmas wishes to the Wishing Tree.

Christmas Adventure, Stockfeld Park, Wetherby



Near Leeds, Harrogate and York, the Christmas Adventure has a new Santa's grotto this year with an interactive area that the kids will love. Santa will make his grand arrival on skis on November 14 and will give out free choccie treats to all kids. This year they've added a cosy area to the grotto where he'll give out presents which are suitable for kids of all ages, including the under 3's.

When? November 14 - December 24, weekdays 3.00-6.30pm, weekends 12-7pm

Christmas grotto, Sheffield city centre



Christmas events kick off with the Christmas lights being turned on on 22 November.
Visitors to the city centre in Sheffield will be able to meet Santa and get a present from his sack.

Eureka!, Halifax



In Santa's magical toyshop, visitors will help the elves prepare for Christmas before meeting Father Christmas himself in the Eureka! Grotto.

When? Every weekend from Dec 5-20 and daily from December 21-23, Times vary - check website for details
How much? Entrance to the museum costs £7.50 for adults and children aged 3 and over, £2.50 for 1-2 year olds and babies from 0-11 months go free. Please note entrance to the grotto is an additional £1 per child and includes a small gift.
