Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland

With around 50 German-style wooden chalets this London Christmas Market will appeal to all who enjoy the atmosphere of a German Christmas Market.
Food and shopping combine with fun fair treats in Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Loaded with delicious and unusual German goodies, you can also take to the ice and enjoy a fabulous festive fun fair while you are there.
And for 2009, the organisers have just announced that they are expanding to over 20 acres of festive fun, with Father Christmas residing in his own Santa Land circled by the popular Santa Land Express and containing lots of rides and games for your kids. Voted 'Best Outdoor Experience' by TimeOut London, attractions include an ice skating rink, 95.8 Capital FM’s Giant Wheel and ever growing German Christmas Market. New this year is Zippo's Christmas Circus with a 45 minute show especially created for Winter Wonderland.

Christmas at Borough market

Renowned for being one of the biggest and best food markets in town, Borough Market has a huge and diverse range of produce. Bag yourself some foodie bargains - free range eggs and dairy products, including speciality cheeses, special festive fruits and vegetables, beers and cider, meat, flowers and honey are just some of the things you can choose from. And, to get you in the mood for Christmas 2009, several live Christmas performances will be taking place during December, as well as an evening showcasing the huge range of cheeses available at the market from 4pm - 8pm, 17th December.

Christmas market in Portsmouth

The 10th annual Victorian-style Christmas Market hosted at the Historic Dockyard with street entertainment, live music, festive food stalls, gift ideas and carols. It's the biggest Christmas Market on the South Coast. The ticket price includes entry to all the festive entertainment on site plus the historic ships and museums, but excludes harbour tours.

Christmas market in Winchester

Set around the Cathedral, this illuminated market features 75 to 100 log chalet style stalls and activities every evening outside and inside the Cathedral, plus an outdoor ice rink. By popular demand, it will now run for 24 days, until the Sunday before Christmas. There will be a spectacular lantern procession leaving the Great Hall at 6.30pm on the 27 November to arrive at the Christmas Market.
