Keep a food diary
I decided to keep a food diary, when I found I wasn't losing weight as fast as I'd like. It forced me to be honest. And yes, eating in the dark does count! I also identified my danger points, like the post-lunch energy dip at 4pm. That way, I could make sure that I'd be distracted by something else.

i have lost around 5 stone & found that keeping a food diary was such a help. one of my favourite tips is to sit down in the evening and plan what you're going to eat the next day, then write it in your diary. the next day, you know exactly what you're going to eat, so i felt it took the pressure & stress away of deciding what you can & cant have. and nine times out of ten, i'll stick to whats in my diary...if its already written down, you dont want to cheat!!
