Aerobics will help you to burn fat and excess calories. When you burn fat, you'll be getting rid of cellulite. As a rule of thumb, the harder you work during a session, the better results you'll get in less time.

Walking is better than nothing, but will do little for your fitness levels and won't burn anywhere near the amount of calories that running, skipping or an aerobics class will.

Although running may not appeal initially, it's worth considering as you can do it anywhere and it targets the muscles of the lower body, where cellulite is abundant.

Think about running with a friend, or even join a group if you're new to exercise. The Women's Running Network (www.womensrunningnetwork.co.uk) is a good point of contact for running groups that cater for the absolute beginner.

Mila, 6 months

Climbing stairs is perfect for melting cellulite. Usually I climb 7-8 floors and than go down (this is the rest), than again climb 7-8 floors. Do this 4-5 times and the cellulite will gone after a month. The other benefit is that climbing stairs is cardio training too. I also use these exercise videos, one of them is anti cellulite http://www.women-workout-routines.com/free-workout-routines.html

Another good and simple exercise you can do at home or in your office frequently goes like this: stand close to the wall, push your back to the wall and lower your body until you come into position of sitting "in air", and hold that position as long as you can, say 2-3 minutes. This exercise will help you firm your thighs. Check out cellulite-battle.blogspot.com
