The Bikini Detox Diet Food Plan
What do you do on the detox diet?
Follow the menu plans closely, but swap meals around if you don't like something. On top of one breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack a day, you're allowed 300ml skimmed milk in addition to any milk in the plans. Avoid alcohol and stick to water, diet drinks, tea and coffee (with milk from your 300ml allowance).
Day 1
Breakfast:
Half a chopped mango, topped with 150g of low fat plain yogurt
Lunch:
Bagged leaf salad with 1 level tbsp toasted pine nuts, 1 level tbsp grated Parmesan. 1 slice of granary bread (no spread). An orange
Dinner:
Grilled fresh sardines, served with one medium boiled sweet potato, broccoli, wedges of lemon. Fresh fruit salad
Snacks:
4 chocolate-coated Brazil nuts or 6 cocoa-dusted almonds

Day 7: Yep, this is working. Another centimetre off today, though I have discovered I'm allergic to Quorn. Will have to replace all the chicken with Tescos vege burger patties instead! I should point out I have a sports injury & so not doing any exercise at all. Not bad!

DAY 5: This weekend is going to be difficult. I'm working all over the county with a lot of driving, and with a lot of tempting food. I'm going to bring my lunch with me, but today's meal of vegetables, guacamole and 2 oat cakes is tiny! I have lost a centimetre from my tum since starting though, which is encouraging. (I am using tape measure rather than scales, as it's the shape of me that's the problem!)

DAY THREE: Well, five tablespoons of bran flakes is not a very large breakfast. This morning I found it amusing but this evening I am feeling a bit cranky... not giving up yet though!

Right, well I am going to try this diet & since there are no comments here I will treat this space like a Diary! DAY ONE: I have never been on a diet before so the feeling of starving is new to me. I'm a pretty tiny person, but as I have hardly any hips or bosom it is hugely annoying that a bit of fat on my tummy is damn obvious! The 7lbs (3 kgs) this diet claims to remove will be just right for me to look glam for summer... I will let you know how it goes!!!

DAY 10: Yep, This is definitely working, fabulous! Since beginning I have lost 2 and a half cm of my waist, my goal was five. Hard last night with friends around drinking, but I stuck to it with a zero calorie soda water, lime & vodka and watched while they all ate sweets!
