I tried the 8 Weeks to Get in Shape Diet
I chose this diet because it combined diet and exercise and I don't see the point in dieting if you don't exercise as well. I also liked the fact it gave you a choice of breakfasts, lunches and dinners to choose from so you weren't tied down to complicated meal plans every day.
I started it exactly eight weeks before my holiday in Spain and found it easy to follow. Some meal choices are more filling than others - I was starving after eating just hummus and carrot sticks for lunch. After that, I chose the more filling ones and the snacks were great too. You're allowed boiled sweets and low fat ice cream!
I lost nine pounds over the eight weeks. I'll definitely be doing it again in time for next year's holiday!
