I tried the Atkins Diet
I don't especially like vegetables and I'm always starving after eating salad so I normally give up after about two days' dieting. Then I tried the Atkins Diet. It was hard at first and I had headaches, but I kept at it and lost four pounds in the first two weeks.
I love rich foods like creamy sauces, cheese and bacon, so most of the time I didn't even feel like I was on a diet. The one thing I really missed was bread - I found myself craving big hunks of it!
I stayed on the Atkins Diet for two months and lost nine pounds. I'd really recommend it if you love meat like me but I couldn't stay on it forever. I like bread and pasta too much!
