I tried the Bikini Detox Diet
I was going on holiday to Bodrum in Turkey but was so busy at work, I hadn't given a thought to my diet in months. That's probably why I got a right shock when I tried on my swimming costume a few weeks before we left. The bikini detox sounded like just what I needed!
It was good that you could swap the meals around and most of them were simple to prepare. But a lot of the ingredients were really expensive like mango and blueberries, so I didn't buy them. I was starving after some of the lunches too. Humous and bread sticks didn't fill me up at all and I ended up cheating a few times, although I tried to still eat healthy things.
I did lose weight - about five pounds in two weeks - and I felt better for eating so much fruit and veg. Next time, I'll stick to some of the cheaper and more filling meals though, like the jacket potato and the chicken in pitta bread.
