I tried the Low Carb Diet
My friends call me 'the professional dieter' because I've done so many of them. When I heard about the low-carb diet I had to give it a go. At first this diet amazed me because I was allowed to eat so many previously 'banned' food. I've never been on a diet where I could eat bacon and fried eggs for my breakfast.
But it wasn't as easy as it sounds. For someone like me who loves bread and can get through six slices a day, it was extremely difficult. I found myself drooling over the kids' pasta and was soon sick of the sight of meat. But I stuck with it and lost nearly a stone in six weeks. But I don't think I'll be able to stick it for much longer and I'm worried I'll put all the weight back on the second I eat a sandwich.

I love the atkins diet and seems to be the only one that works for me. I can have scrambled eggs with cheese or cheese omlettes for breakfast, salads for dinner, (but watch for tomotoes), meat, beansprouts fish, salad etc fo tea. I make sure I get some meat, fish, cheese and eggs a day. Try some sugar free jelly with cream for pudding. Snack on peanuts or pork scratchings. But make sure you drink water, or diet drinks to avoid constipation. And do some walking. Even if it is to the next bus stop or up one flight of stairs. It all helps. I feel so energetic and the weight drops off.

having tried many diets like this i am currently on low carb diet similar to that of the atkins however i try to keep fatty meats out an dstick to lean meats. anyway i have the same problem as you as the diet tells me meat, so at breakfast you think sausages or bacon then immediately think in between two slices of bread. so instead i have low fat yoghurts and fruit also i recommend buying those frozen smoothies packs form your supermarket (my favorite being asda's tropical smootie mix which is only a quid) and combined with a bottle of fresh unconcentrated orange juice only comes to about £2.50 and will make about 3 pints of smootie. this gives you a huge energy boost is about 3 or 4 of your 5 a day and you can simply but some in the fridge for later or take some to work for a break snack. also this will get you digestive system going so a must try for anyone with digestive troubles. hope this helps!!

I have been told by my doctor to cut out carb's from my diet, for medical reasons, since taking his advice I seem to have loads of energy, but also found that breakfast was a major problem now I eat fruit or yoghurts or some days I splash out and have both, oats are very good for breakfast also because they are low in carbs and give you the roughage that it needed to keep you healthy.
