People who want to lose weight quickly for a special occasion like a wedding or a party.
What are the pros and cons of Cabbage Soup Diet?
This diet can leave you light headed and full of wind. It can be hard to stick to because it's so repetitive. Cabbage soup is pretty boring after day three. There's also a high chance you'll put all the weight you lost back on when you come off the diet, so it's just a quick fix.
What do you do on the Cabbage Soup Diet?
On day one of the diet, you can eat as much fruit as you want (except bananas) along with unlimited cabbage soup, water and unsweetened tea and coffee. On day two you avoid fruit but eat raw veg and cabbage soup. You're even allowed a baked potato in the evening!
On other days, you're told to eat up to eight bananas or beef and tomato. But whatever else you eat, you've got to fill up on - you guessed it - cabbage soup!
What can you eat on The Cabbage Soup Diet?
Cabbage soup and lots of it. Raw fruit and veg and the odd potato and piece of meat.
Typical day's diet
Lots and lots of cabbage soup, unlimited raw fruit, tea, cranberry juice and water. To make the cabbage soup, chop six large onions, a bunch of celery, a head of cabbage and two green peppers. Add two cans of chopped tomatoes and enough vegetable stock to cover. Bring to the boil and simmer for about an hour. Season to taste.
Top tip: Spice up your soup by adding some cayenne pepper. It'll make it taste better!

Instead of all these crazy diets I may just try, (and I recommend), the "eat less" diet

This diet works, simple. I just substitue the cabbage soup with a bad of fresh veg, its more convienient and easier. It's very strict though, i was on the diet in the Sacred Hearts Form (the same diet but no cabbage soup, just veggies) for about a year and i lost about six stone (14lbs to a stone) It will creep back on though. Id sugges tusing it to get to the size you want, and then eating healthy after. Once u see the pile on, go back to the routine. Some days are difficult though.
