Rosemary Conley on the five per cent rule
With the exception of oily fish and oats, try to buy only foods with five per cent or less fat as this will save you hundreds of calories. You will still be able to eat plenty of foods, so you won't feel hungry, yet still lose lots of weight. The fat that you eat will be stored as fat on your body, so don't add fat to your cooking and avoid high-fat dressings and oil on salads. Make sandwiches without spreads and instead use sauce or dressing straight on to the bread.

I have been on Rosemary Conley's plan (at the weekly meetings) for a couple of months. And its going great! I find it so easy to do. the 5% rule is so straight forward that once the shopping is done all you have to think about is the calories when your cooking or grabbing a snack!

This information is very useful and I will now take note of what I am buying. My cholesterol is average but I would accept even a little improvement or a little further reduction.

I have just started on the Kickstart GI Jeans diet. It has only been a week and I have much more energy, it has been a hard week and i have another week to go. The meals are virtually fat free and there is plenty of variety. I think this is a fantastic diet and I'm hoping I can change my eating habits in the long term, I want too lose 1st 8lbs. I thought I was eating less calories than I actually was before this diet.
