What do they do?
Yoga helps to maintain fitness, suppleness and muscle tone as well as energising both body and mind. Yoga teachers are usually self-employed, working in health studios and leisure centres.

What qualifications do you need?
The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) run a Yoga Teacher's Diploma (you'll already have to have done a foundation course or be experienced in practicing yoga though). You need to put in 200 hours' training and 300 hours' study time over about three years.

How much do they earn?
Approx £10 - £15 a session when working for a local authority. This can go up to £50 a session for a corporate organisation.
