Essential Yogalates by Louise Solomon

Louise says:
'A great way to tone and shape up - if you stick to the routine for three months you'll be a completely changed person. Tone your abs, bum, legs, arms and the tummy with five specific workouts, plus there's one final workout to tone the whole body.'
Who's it good for?
If you want to work on your flexibility or you just want to tone up and lose weight this is the DVD for you. Yogalates helps to improve posture and it's excellent for relaxing body and mind - ideal if you're always on the go and want to de-stress at the end of a hard day.
goodtoknow user, Jen Harry, 50, from London, says:
'This DVD doesn't get your heart going so much but that doesn't mean it's not worth it. It's more about toning all your saggy bits. It's extremely calming and the exercises are easy to follow and go at a slow pace. The workout is also broken down into different sections, so I could choose to focus on my problem areas (bum, tum and thighs). I really felt it the day after but I knew that it meant it was working.
I'd recommend this to anyone who can't manage a high-intensity workout or if you just want to tone-up and de-stress.'
Will you do it again? Definitely

This was the first DVD for someone closest to my age - 56. It's all very well trying out DVD routines in your lounge/living room, but all the furniture moves with you as well. How about a DVD where there's no jumping, dancing, "skipping across the floor", and a DVD which is suitable to my age group? From a very young 56 year old (size 12-14) .
