Breakfast
1 x 100g pot low-fat yogurt (max. 75 kcal and 5% fat) mixed with 1 small sliced banana and 1 yellow portion pot/70g blueberries (V)

Mid-morning Power Snack
1 apple or pear

Lunch
Omelette made with 2 medium eggs and milk from allowance, filled with 25g sliced wafer thin ham, 2 sliced spring onions and chopped mixed peppers, plus mixed salad

Mid-afternoon Power Snack
2 satsumas

Dinner
Roast beef with Yorkshire pud: 75g roast beef with either 1 low-fat Yorkshire pudding or 75g dry-roasted sweet potatoes plus unlimited green vegetables and a little low-fat gravy made with gravy powder or low-fat gravy granules

Activity challenge

  • Do 30 minutes of aerobics (work out at class, to fitness DVD or on cardio equipment at gym)
  • Do 8 press-ups twice during the day (see Day 7)
