Whether you're the bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride or even the groom, losing weight and looking your best is easy with our brilliant wedding diet.

What's the Wedding Diet?

It's full of quick and easy recipes, filling and tasty meals and nutrients that'll ensure you lose weight and give your hair and skin a boost.

Who's it good for?

Everyone! This is a balanced, healthy diet full of variety that's easy to follow. Even if you're not the bride and you want to look your best for the big day, this diet is for you. And if you want to get your skin glowing and your hair looking glossier this is also a great eating plan for you.

How much weight can I lose?

If you follow our wedding diet for just a month you could lose up to a stone. If you want to lose more and get even better hair and skin benefits, it's safe to follow this diet for three months or more.

How does it improve my skin and hair?

The wedding diet is packed with vitamins and minerals and foods that are high in essential fatty acids such as oats, oily fish and nuts. All these sorts of foods are great for healthy skin and great hair. There's also a lot of protein, which is what your hair needs to grow long and strong.

Is there a downside?

As with any diet the downside is that you have to follow it to lose weight and if you eat lots of cakes, chocolate, takeaways or drink a lot of alcohol then you won't lose weight and your hair and skin will suffer.

Can I still have a drink?

On some days you can enjoy a glass of wine or a light beer. And you can still have desserts when it's part of the diet.

How does it work?

It's simple - high fibre foods fill you up and give you energy all day. But the diet is low in fat so you won't be putting on the pounds, instead your body will be burning fat.

You'll have a breakfast, lunch and dinner plus two snacks per day and plenty of water - aim to drink around 8 glasses a day.

Swap your usual milk for skimmed milk and instead of butter or margarine use low-fat spread. Use a spray oil to grill or fry.

Choose from any of the meals on the following pages and alternate as you fancy.
