What are the pros?
- You can add the supplement to your food - great if you don't like swallowing pills.
- Fats and oils are known to make you feel more satisfied - so there could be some truth in Slim Thru's weight loss claim.
- It might work for you if you just want to watch what you eat rather than lose a lot of weight.
What are the cons?
- It's hard to find much scientific evidence to back up the claims of Slim Thru.
- Slim Thru has a mild taste, which some people might not like.
Expert verdict
Nutritionist, Carina Norris says: 'This might help some people - its ingredients could slow the rate at which the food you eat raises your blood sugar level, providing longer-lasting energy, so you don't get hungry again so quickly. But you can get the same kind of effect - without any powders or supplements - by eating low-GI foods.'
