You can squeeze many of these foods into one meal...

Beef burger
- A small grilled burger that's 100 per cent beef gives you a day's iron. Have a salad with grated carrot for vitamin A.
Lamb curry
- Curries are high in iron and protein, but limit the rice. Serve instead with stir-fried veg.
Seafood pizza
- Tuna and red and yellow peppers on a thin base gives vitamins C and B. Team with salad.

Supplements are just that - they supplement your diet. Never take extra for the sake of it. Symptoms of excess are rare, but look out for...

Vitamin B complex
- Skin disorders, liver damage, ulcers, numbness and tingling.
Vitamin A
- Loss of appetite, headache, peeling skin, muscular stiffness.
Vitamin C
- Nausea, diarrhoea, flatulence.
Iron
- Stomach upset, black stools, fatigue, toxic build-up in liver.
