Coping with labour pain

My midwife told me that labour would hurt, a lot! I'm glad she did, because when the contractions started I wasn't worried something was wrong, I knew what to expect. I couldn't "cure the pain" but I found ways to cope with it. After William was born, I felt like I could go through it again!
