Coping with breastfeeding

Coping with breastfeeding
Average rating: 3 out of 5 star rating

A midwife in hospital said I'd struggle to feed with such small breasts. A breastfeeding counsellor came round to my house, and she really boosted my confidence. I'm still feeding now, and Harvey is happy and satisfied.
Sadie Cross, 31, mum to Harvey, 9 months

Having inverted nipples was an extra complication, and it took me 8 weeks to feel I'd got breastfeeding sorted. I spent time massaging my breasts before each feed to get the nipples out, and was careful to get Lenny properly latched on. I'm still feeding him now, and I'm so glad I persevered.
Katie Macdiarmid, 32, mum to Lenny, 9 months
