Establishing a bedtime routine
Once they're in an established routine, you should definitely wake them up if they oversleep. If I let my daughter snooze for too long in the morning she won't want to sleep at lunchtime or go to bed at a decent hour in the evening.

So our girls know it's time to go to sleep, we play them the same music every night just before bedtime. When they hear it, they know it's time to wind down and it even works if they wake up during the night. It only took a few weeks for them to recognise it so it's worth persevering with it.

Make sure you feed your baby just before they go to bed because this will calm them down and help them sleep too. Trust me, it works!

I have a three we use year old and a 7 week old- i have a poster in the kitchen which i made with the evening routine on but its just pictures so my daughter knows whats going to happen, Bath, Night time drink, story and bed. It really works- she tells me whats next and enjoys feeling in control. I have one for the morning routine aswell xx
