Choosing the right birth partner
Average rating:
My husband James has always been squeamish, but swept along by the excitement, he decided he wanted to be at the birth of our first child. But at the birth, as I battled with the pain, James was a gibbering wreck and I ended up comforting him! Needless to say when I found out I was pregnant with Jess, I immediately asked my sister to be my birth partner. James waited outside and paced the corridor instead!
