'How I learnt to breastfeed happily'

'How I learnt to breastfeed happily'

'I've had two very different experiences breastfeeding my children Mark and Ali. When Mark was born, he refused to suck and just wanted to sleep all the time.

I don't why but he never seemed to be hungry. It made me anxious as I thought I was doing it wrong, but nurses reassured me that it would all come in time.

It was only when we were back at home that he seemed a little more alert and decided it was time to eat. I think he was charging up his batteries!

With Ali it was much easier. She seemed to have the natural instinct and fed straight away. I was so relieved as I thought she'd be the same as Mark! It may take some time, but it will happen.'

It is a good thing when you learn that you can breastfeed after you've lost hope of breastfeeding your babies. Just like me, I had a problem breasfeeding my first baby, my nipples were sore and cracking, I didn'tenjoy breast feeding at all and resulted in that my son stopped breastfeeding totaly. Now I have a 8 weeks old baby, as from 4 weeks ago i went back to work, becauseI have a temp job. since I started working my milk supply diminished in so much that my boy gets frustrated because there isn't enough milk for him as it used to. It also frustrate me because breastfeeding is the only way to catch up with lost time with my baby and now this. I don't what to do and I don't want to stop breast feeding.
