Lots of women feel overwhelmed when they're pregnant with one baby, so it's completely natural to feel like it's all too much. This is where other twin mums can be a great source of support. Ask your midwife or health visitor if she knows of any other women in your area who've had twins and would be happy for you to contact them. Or call TAMBA (Twins and Multiple Births Association; 0800 138 0509; tamba.org.uk). It has a list of local groups, so you can make friends with other mums of twins.

It's also worth contacting your local further education college to see if it provides placements to final-year nursery nurses, who might be able to offer you some help. Or ask your midwife about Home-Start (home-start.org.uk), a charity that sends volunteers to help at home for a few hours a week.
