Things to consider

Do you want a design that will rock but can also be used as a stationary chair?
Do you want to be able to fold it up, either to pack away or take on holiday?
Is the chair suitable for your baby's age and weight? It can be unsafe if your baby's too big or too small.
Could the chair tip over? Look for one with a sturdy base.
Is the base non-slip or could it shuffle about with your baby's movements?
Is the safety harness well-padded, securely attached and easily adjustable?
Do you want a chair that can recline fully?
Is the cover machine-washable?
Do you want a removable toy bar?
Does the head-hugger offer your baby's neck and head enough support?

Mum's top tip:

'When Chloe was a baby and I wanted to take a shower, I'd take her into the bathroom in her baby chair. I'd put her in a spot where I could see her and where she wouldn't get splashed with hot water.'
