Buying bottles

Which type?

There are three shapes of bottle, so think about which one will suit you the best.
1. Standard bottles are tall and slim with narrow necks.
2. Wide-necked bottles, usually quite squat, are easy to fill without spilling. They tend to fit most breast pumps
3. Angled bottles have a 30° angle. Some people have found that this a more comfortable feeding position for the baby.

Brandwatch

Anti-colic, angled, wide-necked, with go-faster stripes (just kidding)! Surely a baby's bottle is just a bottle? Don't you believe it! This is big business, with companies striving to bring out better products all the time.

Two household names are:
Tommee Tippee: Well-established, trusted brand, now 50 years old. Famous for feeding but constantly expanding into new areas. Great-quality products and some good ideas to make parenting fun.
Avent: UK's leading baby feeding brand with nearly 49 per cent of the total market. Particularly well known for bottles, sterilisers, breast pumps and trainer cups.
