Eat as much as you like of these superfooods:Almonds: Packed with calcium and shown to balance blood sugar levels. Grab a handful when you're in need of a chocolate fix!
Tofu : Low-fat, low-sodium, a good source of protein, iron, zinc, B-vitamins, calcium and magnesium.
Strawberries: Two cups can provide all the iron and vitamin C a mum-to-be needs, plus they're low in calories and high in fibre.
Natural yogurt: High in calcium and full of friendly bacteria to keep the digestive system working properly.
Pumpkin and sunflower seeds: Packed with essential fats, they are fundamental for a baby's vision and brain development.
Blueberries: One of the highest antioxidant foods. If you feel under the weather, snack on these.
Sardines: High in omega-3 fat, and a great source of calcium, too, if you eat the bones!
Brown rice: Rich in B-vitamins to provide energy, plus great for constipation and absorbing unwanted toxins.
Broccoli: A great all-rounder, with nearly every vitamin and mineral, broccoli also contains a phytochemical that reduces risks of cancer and heart disease.
Kidney beans: A good source of iron, protein, B vitamins and folic acid. Plus, they're low in calories.
